Ranbir Kapoor is truly the superstar of the future. He has an infectious screen presence and everything he does is just what the filmgoer ordered. Take his latest, Wake Up Sid. Not only does the film work for me, it has for the majority of filmgoers - the film is a confirmed sleeper hit.
The Karan Johar produced film is truly a film for the Now generation. But the beauty of it lies in the fact that it can be just as watchable to the middle aged and the old. If nothing else, it will give them something to bridge the generation gap with. And if those are tall words, atleast it will make them understand the pains that today’s generation goes through, particularly those who are not academically inclined.
