Are some Indian actors really Hollywood stars?
There is much frenzy whenever an Indian actor gets picked by English filmmakers. The truth is, most of these are independent filmmakers and not big Hollywood studios.
Therefore, first of all, they are not going to be Hollywood actors. They are merely international stars. The only actress to have truly gone Hollywood is Aishwarya Rai (Pink Panther 2, The Mistress of Spices, Bride and Prejudice) and most recently, Mallika Sherawat with The Myth (but even she had a blink-and-you-miss role).
Every other actress, be it Shriya Saran or Sneha Ullal, aren’t really acting in Hollywood movies. Sometimes, it is good to just be aware.
